About Lapidary
Lapidary is the craft of cutting, polishing, and engraving minerals, gemstones, and other materials to create jewelry, sculptures, and decorative display objects. The lapidarist uses specialized tools and techniques to enhance the endless variety of colorful and intricately patterned minerals that occur in nature.
Our club's fully equipped lapidary center is an incredible member resource that not every club offers. Many members join for other activities such as field collecting, only to discover a passion for the lapidary arts.
